Yes, censuses will still be available upstairs, but only until next March when they will be moved to Kew.

Pam,

As I understand it, the ground floor will be closed and that means loss of access to the bmd indexes but the first floor will presumably still give access to censuses on microfilm and free online facilities on websites.

The Public Search Room facilities at Myddleton Street are, I believe, scheduled for closure in October 2007.

1911 will be available in 2012.....1921 in 2022.


If you have an exact address for 1911, you can apply now for a copy of the image......it will cost you £45.00
