A few years ago I acquired a photo album which fascinated me. I tried to identify the people and came to the conclusion they were related to Denys Finch-Hatton of "Out of Africa" fame.
I traced and contacted some current family, but they have shown no interest---they probably have enough photos anyway!
Is anyone else interested?
There is a Mrs Barnett named [1912] at The Red House, West Ashling,Chichester.
Also a "staff" photo with "Mr J Barnett" and "granted admission to White and Popple explosive factory".
A newspaper cutting [undated] shows an elephant study taken by Mr Finch-Hatton which was what made me think this was the connection.
Is any of this of interest to anyone?
