Hi Gwyn i looked at this one but couldnt find a child born to this couple under the names i have got on the newspaper cutting so i have written it down and i will keep looking for the childrens names i have never come across a william hawkins in my tree but thats not saying its not

Hi Von thanks for the reply i have started going through the births of all the hawkins clan born 16 years after ada was born to see if i can find any of the names mentioned on the newspaper article writing down mmn but no mmn match up as of yet with the names i have got ,a few of the names are pat , phyl , stephanie , which seem names that wernt around in 1912 when ada would have been 16 +

Hi I went to visit a cousin of my mums and her mum (my nans sister) kept a scrap book of death notices in the newspaper she cut them out and put them all in a book.My nans name was hawkins
I know all of them but one her name is Ada E Hawkins it says she died 24th dec 1975 so i looked up her death which gave me her birth 21 march 1896.
I then looked for any ada e's ? born in 1896 in all the remaining quaters. wrote them down and then looked to see if i could find a possible marriage . In or around the tottenham edmonton area as all the hawkins lived there and the death notice was taken from the tottenham and edmonton herald .
But i cant find a match , I have married of all my nans brothers and sisters so who is she
ANy ideas how i could help myself in this search or do you thimk im looking for a needle in a hay stack I would like to find who she is but im lost.
On the page of her cutting it has from her children
Any ideas would be a great help
