On PAF you can do a short version of a tree from any person - there is a tab in reports for descendents and another for ancestors...just choose your starting person and the number of generations you want to cover. You can use print preview to see you have got what you want - if you tick the print to file box and then print you will get a .rtf file, which is effectively an emailable word document.

Thanks, Claire & Chris,

Apart from my Tree on GR I also have it on PAF.

None of these people are on it though.

Is it possible for me to add this 'line' to my Tree but only send the relevant part to my Contact?

How about setting the info up in a free tree on Tribal Pages?

http://www.tribalpages.com/

It would mean typing all the info but once you have you could hand the tree over to your cousin, or, just give him access through a visitor's password.

I often do this when I am starting trees of for friends.....Then it is up to them if they want to upgrade it to a paid tree.

.....sounds like a private message solution to me.

About 18 months ago I did some research on my cousin's Maternal line. They were not related to me so I did not put them on my Tree.

I've recently been in contact with a 'relative' of this Tree - I have info., that may be of interest/use to them and they have info., that will certainly be of interest to my cousin. They have allowed me acces to their Tree.

Apart from putting this family line on my Tree, is there any way of 'sharing' the info., I have?

I hope this makes sense!
