I have checked the page - it is definatley Scott - no idea why all the children's names/places of birth tally with previousl census.

Husband John Glester died 1874 Poplar Middlesex.

any ideas would be greatley appreciated. Jane

Don't know if this helps or not - I can find a James Scott born 1799 born Belford on a couple of Censuses but no James Glester. Do you have John and Elizabeth's marriage cert?

Hi Potty & Glitter Baby
Thank you for trying. I don't think the 1891 census is correct, and I don't have the marriage cert. This is an off shoot of my tree!! Just trying to fill in some blanks.

Thank you both very much for all your trouble
regards
Jane
