Hello to everyone on this great site...I only joined on Monday so am new to this and not really sure what do do next so i shall tell you a bit of my storry and hope someone may be able to help me or point me in the right direction...Sorry if i go on a bit but it easier to tell this in my own words...Ok here goes.....

Im 36 and found out when i was 20 that my Dad wasnt my Biological Father,ive always wondered about my "dad" and its only been the last 7 or so yrs that ive really had this determination/passion and longing to meet my Biological Father...I have done quite alot of looking into where he is,have been to his old neighbourhood and put posters around and had loads or response but sadly he laft the area 36 yrs ago and not been seen since...I know he was married and had a daughter born the yr before me..(i have his marriage cert)...He divorced first wife then had a relationship with my mum and i born in 1971,he left my mum and re married in 1971..(have cert for that also) and have been told he has other children also...I even found a cousin of his who ive met and chatted to but he's not seen anything from him in at least 30 yrs also..Trace line did a death and doctors search for me but came up with not dead in uk and not alot else...I also have his and his brothers birth certs and i know loads of info on him but i just dont know what to do with all this info...I dont even know whre to begin to search for his other children as i dont know their names....I have 3 of my own children now and would give evetything to meet or just chat to this guy...His sur name of Jones doesnt help either..
So anyone out there who thinks they can help in anyway would be great....Sorry for the essay!

I have found his parents graves and visited both on numerous occasions and found out his mother died a few days after his birth...Also someone has said he lived at some point in South Africa....(Hope this helps)

As you have information about your father's second marriage, it would be possible...if tedious...to search for JONES children with the correct mother's maiden name on the bmd full lists on Ancestry, or free at an archive or Record Office that has them on fiche.
The spacing of the children and locations will hopefully help you decide which ones may be half siblings to you and you could send for certificates specifying the father must be ( name ).
At least with a name, you could search for them but be aware that they may know nothing of their father's past...so tread gently if you find them

Welcolme +Don't worry about making mistakes etc. We were all new once + understand.
