thanks to a kind gr member i now have my ggrandfathers ww1 pensions record. i would now like to find out where they were when he was wounded.

he was sent home on 13.2.1917. in royal sussex regiment. 9th battalion. are there any websites i should have a look at which might help or any other record of him i can get that will tell me more detail about his dischargement. all it says is he was discharged as no longer physically fit for service. and disability is listed as "interoular lungs"

anyone have any idea what this is please or how to find out where the battalion was in feb 1917?

thanks.

Have you tried the War Diaries on the National Archives? If you find anything of interest I think it is still £3.50 to download.
