Sorry for not replying immediately but I'm flicking between posts. (lol) Thank you I'll try this and hopefully save oodles of time.

Hi Di
Highlight by dragging mouse across.
press Control C
then go to ftm notes page and Control V.

I generally then delete the bits I don't need

Ok I'm inputting all my reference numbers and source details onto my FTM 2006 tree and wondered if anyone knew if there was a quick way of copying the census info for several individuals so I don't have to input it for each one. There doesn't seem the ability to right click n copy on the mouse when in the notes page of FTM.
