I'm not that clued up but I think you'd need to try and get the marriage cert you have the GRO ref for and see what information is on that. Di

the only information I have for John William Barnes birth is from his marriage certificate in 1931 which gives his age as 24 (dob 1907??) and his fathers name as Ernest Charles Barnes, Labourer
The Ernest I have found was born in Tewksbury in 1875 then his possible marriage in Gloucester in 1905 record no 6a 676.

Hi I am trying to find who married an Ernest Charles Barnes in 1905, I have found his details 6a 676 in Gloucester but it does not give who he married any tips on how to find this information, If I can find this it may help to find where their Son John William Barnes was born
