If I can ever do you a favour in return Sylvia, please don't hesitate to ask.

Just rang my Dad and he's thrilled!

Glad to be of help and maybe the reference number will help you locate the grave next time you visit and maybe some of them are not as unreadable as you think - someone else must have read the inscription or maybe they has access to the burial plot records because they input the data into familyhistoryonline
Another few twigs on your branches then ?
Good luck
Sylvia

Oh Sylvia, thank you so much! The wife's details confirm it. These are my Dad's aunt and uncle; we searched Antony churchyard on a visit to Cornwall last week but couldn't find the grave/s (it was very hilly and uneven, plus a lot of them were unreadable).

You've made my day, and my Dad's!

Mandy :)

Burial Ground - Antony Parish Church, Cornwall
(no image available)
Ref N - 095
William Henry Stribling
22nd April 1940 aged 60 years
Then it stated that it was a double inscription and that was
Edith Stribling
4th April 1958 aged 84 years
Fingers croosed it's of some use to you

Hi Sylvia

Many thanks for your kind offer.

It's a Monumental Inscription for Cornwall 1940 and the name is William Henry Stribling.

Does anyone have one spare 6p credit for the above website and could do a lookup for me please? It's the only one I've found on that site so far, so buying £5 of credits might be a bit of a waste.

Many thanks
Mandy :)
