Bombay - Grant Buildings - where should I look? He

Hi all,
I have an ancestor who was living at Colaba No 2 Grant Buildings, Bombay in 1858, I think it might have something to do with a Regiment, but haven't found any evidence to support it.
Does anyone know where I should go to find out anymore info?

I would have thought British in India would be a good google point followed by the date and address?
