James Yeadon and Margaret (Etherington) were on the 1841 census together (name spelt Yeaton) in Cumberland. I can find no trace of their marraige.
Margaret died in1850 in Burnley (after having 4 children between 1843 and1849) The children are found in the Settle Union Workhouse in the 1851 census without their father.
Also no trace of James on 1851 census and I can not find his death.
Can anyone help.

You say you can find no trace - where have you looked? Which resources ?

Lynne, no I have the certificate for that one and I do not think it is the right one. The occupation is not the same on the death cert = (wool comber) . as on the 1841 census and childrens birth certificates = (block cutter). Also he was aged 63 at death which would have meant him having his children only after his 55th birthday !!

I have looked on Ancestry and findmypast with no luck. But sometimes you look too hard and miss something which is why I thought I could ask for some help.
