If the couple had children, then buying the birth certificate of one of the children will give you the mother's maiden name.

If they married after 1911 then you can get the wife's maiden name from the marriage reference (if you know when they married.

being new to this family tree adventure ,i would like to find out from you experts,the best and easiest way to find the maiden name of a married couple,an e.g.a mr smith marries his wife who then becomes mrs smith ,the best way to find her maiden name?
