Go into any PC dealer..............they will have people on hand to give you all the advice you need.

You will need a wireless router to connect the laptop. You can either use a bt home hub (see BT web site) or purchase one from a computer shop.

No you do not need to tell BT, we have 4 running on our network, and as long as they get there subscription they do not care.

Security is worked between the router and the laptop.

Hi Friend's,
I am buying a laptop for my daughter for her 21st.(a wireless one).
How will I connect to this pc for her to use internet.
Will I have to tell my internet provider (bt).
Will the laptop need it's own security or will it run off mine.
As you have guessed this is my 1st pc.
