Its called Mountmellick, Laoighis, Ireland. Where is this??

If you go to www.multimap.com select the Republic of ireland in the drop down box and enter Mountmellick in the box above you get a map showing exactly where it is.
The county is usualy Laios or Leix or Queens.

Hi, Betty

Mountmellick is about 50 miles west of Dublin. (Readers' Digest Complete Atlas of the British Isles). I wouldn't be without this book! It's great for finding little places that I have never heard of.

By the way, I found a William Reid married an Elspath Boo around 1697/1700 in Newton, Midlothian. Any relation?
