Hi Bren

Yes, that looks like the right one.

Everyone is so fast, it takes me ages just to reply to the messages. It would help if I could spell, Ha Ha.

Kind regards
Janet

There are these christenings on BVRI.
They're all in Bolton le Sands.

These have parents Robert & Betty:
Ann, 2 Nov.1823
Thomas, 2 Apr.1826
Robert, 19 Apr.1829

These have parents Robert & Elizabeth but they can't all be the same family as Robert & Betty as some of the birthdates are too close.
William, 17 Dec.1826
Ann, 24 Feb.1829
John, 28 Nov.1830
John, 27 May 1832
Edward Birkett, 28 Apr.1833
William, 28 Dec.1834
James, born 5 Jun.1835, christened 9 Nov.1848
Elizabeth, born 11 Oct.1837, christened 19 Nov.1837
Margaret, born 24 Jul.1840, christened 23 Aug.1840
James, born 18 Feb.1843, christened 26 Mar.1843

Thanks Bren and Libby.

Good advice, I had no idea that the IGI records had not been extracted from parish records.
I will look into the Clapham record.

Bren,
My Elizabeth was married and her married name was Gardner in 1851, thanks for your time though, much appreciated.

Hi
I have been looking on IGI for Elizabeth Thistlethwaite.

On the 1951 census She is Elizabeth Gardner born 1800, Austwick Yorkshire.

I have found two poss matches, one in Aysgarth and the other Dent.

Would anyone be able to tell me if either one of these are close to Austwick???

Thanks
Janet
