Yes that's the family. I rather stupidly hadn't thought that Kate could really be Catherine. I will go back and look at what you have found and try again myself.

I am looking for the family of Kate Ryan born Ireland 1855. Her father was William Ryan a contractor. I know that she married Thomas Blackburn in Liverpool in 1880. I can't find them on a census prior to the wedding so they may have been in Ireland then. How do I find out please?
