Funny! I just cut & pasted it from the thread here and it worked for me.
Try just googling "bc archives". It's the first one that comes up. Then go to "Vital Events"

Hi Margaret, Thanks for the info, I did as you suggest but unfortunately it comes up 'address is not valid' I've tried different variations of the address and all have the same result. Thanks for trying though, Lou

British Columbia Vital Statistics are here:

Births only go up to 1903 and marriages 1931. His death is there.

Hi, I'd really appreciate a birth & or marriage look up please of ;-

Francis Ralph Bothwell or surname could be Parr Bothwell, born in 1917 possibly Vancouver, his mother's maiden name was Parr, I have a death date of 7 July 1982.

I think he may have married an Elizabeth Isabella Pedden as I found her name linked to his when I googled his name and I think she died age 77 I think on 31 October possibly in 2002, but I couldn't find any more info sorry

Any help would be greatfully recieived. Thanks in advance Lou
