Can anyone help? [ mY 5 X GGF WILLIAM EVANS bn. around 1821 in Salford Manchester Lancashire, who went on to marry Caroline Jones bn. around 1828 in Wrexham Wales at Manchester Cathedral] - was - in his early 20's - enlisted in the 98th of foot regiment - based at Tib or Tibb street barracks in Manchester.

Where was Tib/Tibbs street barracks?
Was he in the Militia, volunteers or regular army?
Any other information greatly appreciated.

Margaret

Elsie,

You say that 5xGGF was born c1821 but his bride was born c1729?

Obviously a typo error.
