I need a war expert!!!

Hi All
I hope somebody can help with this. My dads brother Leslie George Thatcher born 14 Feb 1907 died during the second world war on board ship.I canot find his death in BDM, CWGC, Medals index,and some other smaller sites.Any advice on my next direction most welcome,

sorry i have no idea the people that would know are all gone i only know he was on board a ship and he fell of the mast when fixing the radio wire

Have you tried the National Archives web site? They seem to hold records on most thngs.

when you say Bdm.s did you search the full listings
