I am pleased to publicly say thank you to Mike the Leicester lad, his recent supply of cemetery information with regard to the Cooke’s Buried in Welford Road 1870 -89 has enabled me to demolish a 34 month old brick wall.

I have in one month established a wife for my c1790 Thomas Cooke, confirmed his son Thomas c1824 Loughborough birth and added seven siblings. All mostly verified now by GRO certificates and Parish records.

So plenty to do now, back and forward.

And the research tips here......never give up and never be afraid to ask.

Thank you Mike!
