Who are the other people on the census - do any of the names fit at all with the family?

Thanks Bob, yes I am going to get the death cert for the suspected wife

...don't discount your find! As has been said the men changed their occupations many times. I would continue to persue the latest find to double check that this is or is not a parallel family.

My methods of continual disproval has brought me good results.

You could also speculate the £7.00 and buy the death cert for the suspected wife.

Good hunting,
Bob

I am at work at the moment, have'nt had time to check the 1851 census for James. I know that by the 1851 William was in Nottingham

I am in need of your opinions. In ref to my thread last night about James Hope Drummond, his wife Catherine Sage, and their son William James, brn 1821 St Pancras Middlesex. I have never been able to find James or his wife on the 1841 census, but late last night, looking for William on Ancesrys 1841 census, I came across this.

Name: William Drummond
Age: 20
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1821
Gender: Male
Where born: Middlesex, England
Civil Parish: Stepney
Hundred: Ossulstone (Tower Division)
County/Island: Middlesex
Country: England
Street address:
Occupation: View Image
Registration district: Stepney
Sub-registration district: Mile End Old Town Upper
Neighbors: View others on page
Household Members: Name Age
James Drummond 45
William Drummond 20
Mary Fare 45
Thomas Fare 50
Alexander Myers 20
Sarah Myers 20

I have since found a death for a Catherine Drummond in June 1841 in Stepney. In your opinion, have I finally found my elusive rellies?
