I'm not sure what you mean - you ask if they are father and son but state immediately before that they are!

Can you clarify what you are asking?

How have you come by James Senior then?

james senior was on his sons death cert in 1873 but they were both dead as the scottish death cert gives the parents as well, and i have cert of james marriage in 1790,but the sons name on the death cert was andrew bennet morgan

Ok so you've presumably followed Andrew back and found James and then followed James back to find his marriage?

I would suggest searching the baptisms for the church where James married to make sure that first of all he is Andrew's father (ie to make sure you have the right James) and then find out what other children he had.

i dont think i can as i sent off to the mormons to find out about james as they were in both parish, and i got Proclamation for 1790 and it only gives this

katherine murray,Clackmanan
it seems the posted there marriage in the two parishes, but theres no parents listed on there marriage
