Can trees posted on the public members site be altered?
I have just found myself on a tree.
I have been shown with the wrong parents, my great grandmother had supposedly died in 1880s but still managed to give birth, aged 64 in 1910.

Is there an option to contact the person who has added the tree to Ancestry

I just had a look at one chosen at random and there seems to be an option to add comments but have not tried it

I will take another look. I think there was a treeowner's name.
I rarely look at the trees there but just started browsing...as you do...hoping to find someone searching the same line as my great great grandfather....my brickwall.
I have been looking for his parents for over 10 years scouring various Record Offices....but there he is, shown with a father's name and father's year of birth??? so I looked to see what else has been added on that tree...and there I was, - name spelt wrong.
I vaguely remember the tree owner's name but certainly didn't give her permission ( do they need it?) to post about me and I know from documents, certificates and my own research that she has posted alot of wrong information.
