Birth Certificate.

can you please tell me how i can obtain my fathers birth certificate, as i want to trace his mothers side of the family, but dont have her name, and you seem to have changed the layout of your site and i am a bit confused by it. any help would be appreciated

Do you know your father's birth date? If so if you give the details here someone will find the GRO reference for you.

If you don't know his date of birth, do you know when he married as his marriage certificate would have an approximate age at marriage and also his father's name which you can use as a checking point when ordering the birth certificate?

Lesly, just to clarify - all the people who help are members just like you - I noticed you said "you have changed the layout of your site".

GR gives no help researching your family history - its all offered freely by fellow members on here.
