Have you been using a website for the Royal Highlanders, I have been trying to get soem information about my Grandfathers service record from WW1 as he was in the Black Watch and have tried a few places but come up a blank so far

Have not been using this site too much for one reason or another, but I have to say what a great bunch of helpful people there are willing to share their time and efforts helping each other! with some excelent results.

If anyone is interested I have a photo taken at Fort George near Inverness..........It is of the BlackWatch 1st Bt with a full index of names for the soldiers in the photo. c. 1906.
