I have hit another brick wall. I am trying to find the death of my G Grandmother Martha Parkinson, nee Phillips, brn in Staffordshire in 1870, and dying in Birmingham somewhere between 1905-1920. I need this info as I am trying to find her husbands, my G Grandfathers, second marriage, which will hopefully led me to his “second” Family. I have checked on ancestry, full, index but I am blowed if I can find either is ancestry’s full index really full. Any ideas-off to work now so will check later-many thanks

Did you look at every qtr for every year? Were there records for all of them? Sometimes a quarter doesn't come up because the transcriber has entered the incorrect first and last names.

Hi Lynda,

From what you have posted this would fit:

Martha Parkinson aged 48
Birmingham 6D 154 Apr - Jun 1919

Hope it helps you.

Kind regards

Amanda

Hi Potty:

Either I am doing something wrong or you can't search past the first letter of the surname anymore?

When did that change?

It is on there though
