... are taking over 5 minutes to open.

This has been happening all week and I thought it may be my PC so have just I tried on OH's laptop. I downloaded the enhanced viewer but they are still taking ages.

I anyone else having problems?

All seems fine here.

It was OK earlier but I've just checked again since reading your post, incase things had changed....Just the same as always.

I have just had advice from another forum to use the Basic Viewer and the image opened almost immediately!

Try this:-

When you are viewing an image, for example a census, there is an options button on the image tool bar. Check that you have selected Standard-quality images and Basic Image Viewer.

It worked for me.
