Have tried to find out info from a Parish in County Cork, you have to have the Correct person/ persons , as it can cost up to 20 euros a name, if common name etc could cost a LOT of money!!!!
. Someone on another board suggested that I apply to Dublin where a lot of Parish Registers are kept but you need the consent of the Local Bishop and its still very expensive even to go over with the correct info and look yourself.

I googled the parish name I was interested in in Ireland and found where the records were kept. Also found a local history group who would do research...but it was too expensive for me...about twice what I have found researchers over here charge....but good luck!
