I had seen that record from IgI it stood out because the christening was the same place as Alice and her 9 siblings but it dosnt really help me to find out if he is the right Robert.

Is there a way of checking IGI for birth of children using the parents names as ref

i can seem to find either Alice or Robert on the 1841 census.

Have just check free BMd and there is

Deaths Dec 1844 (99%)
NESBIT Alice Glendale 25 176

Which could be why i have not found them together in 1851

not found them together on any census as yet

Do they appear together on a census? If he is on any after 1851, his birthplace and year of birth will be recorded.

I have found the marrige of Alice Wintrip to Robert Nesbit on 1 march 1827 in Eglingham Northumberland but i know nothing about Robert apart from his name.

The IGI has a couple of possibles including the baptism of a Rober Nebsit at the same Presbyterian chapel in Woller that Alice and all her 9 sibling were christened at. How do i find out which is the right Robert?
