thanks fr trying we are really clutching at straws with her.

Sorry info differed but Nan is 88 and doesnt know what day of the week it is so her memory isnt good and details change each time you talk to her.

Dawn, I have looked through mar 1933 to dec 1938 and the only andrews I can find in Romford area is the one that was posted earlier........

DOB is right have the cert.

She is my dads gt gran and her actual name was Mary Ann Andrews and there are none for her and then Nan says she was known as Emma so are trying that route.

Nan went into service when she was 14 so 1933 but then told mum no it was when she was 16 and her gran died while she was there and it was before 1942 as that was when dad was born and nan married and she wasnt alive then.

could anyone look up a death for me please.

Emma Andrews around 1935 (sorry cant be exact) was born 1867

would be in Chadwell Heath so probably Romford ish area
