Hi Could someone please tell me how i find the marriage of Richard Ward i think he was married 4Q 1846 Dudley Worcestershire vol;18 pg; 164 or 464
Think his wife was called Sarah from Staffordshire. not having Sarah's second name i can't seem to find anything. Hope you understand what i'm trying to ask. Thanks Pamx

To find Sarahs surname you'll need the M/C & one of the childrens B/C to cross reference it all. If you want i will double check the numbers

I would think this is the marriage but as Julie says, getting one of the children's birth certs would confirm MMN

I don't quite understand... Does the info mean that Richard Ward most likely married Sarah Jones (I know i have to get cert to be sure) but i really hope not because just had a hard time to get to Richard Ward through the vast Jones side of family.. Argh!

If you check westmidlands bmd site you'll find that Richard Ward married Eliza Percival in 1846.

I can't find a Sarah Ward on the 1851 census who was married to Richard and born Staffordshire.
