i use family tree maker 05 and i have looked at the new 08 version but not impressed so it seems the older versions are the most easy to use

I got mine at Morrison's supermarket & it's the 2006 addition. With the month's Ancestry it works out at -£4 it's a bargain!

Where did you get yours from for £5.99 Claire? The best Ive seen is a tenner with a fortnights ancestry on twr computing or my-history?? Do tell us where this bargain is!

I use familytree maker - get the 2006 one, the 2008 is a pain at the moment.

I use Family Tree Maker. It was £5.99 with a month free Ancestry subscription.
I was able to copy my tree over from Gene's without a problem & have not found it difficult to use

I would like to buy some family tree computer software. Any tips on what to go for (or more importantly) avoid!

I need something with easy tree printing - I'm not a computer whizz, so nice and simple also works with me!

Thanks for any help offered
