You can report them to Spamcop, but that won't necessarily stop them.

You'd be better off downloading a program like Mailwasher (free) which enables you to delete stuff from the server before downloading it to your computer:

You can use mailwasher to bounce them back to sender, but it's pointless, because the sender address is usually faked.

THanks I will try all, The latest was a refugee from war torn area, just send bank details!!!My 88 yr old Mum was cloned and had her account syphoned, She reported it to her Bank Manager who told her not to bother reporting to the police!!! Got the money refunded, but she thinks someone has dressed up in disguise to look like her in order to steal her money ...Hey Ho.Thanks everyone

Most banks/building societies have a special email address to forward these phishing messages to. Forwarding them to the banks which are being impersonated doesn't stop them (as they weren't really from the banks in the first place) but it does alert the bank to what scams are around in their name and hopefully they are able to take action over some at least.

Lin, I dont think you can stop them at source. id love to have a program that bounces them back but I think the only thing you can do is block them. I did download a program to do that but I cant remember the name now - was it Mail Wash? I started downloading it but the setting up of it seemed so complicated I didnt bother and just add all the unwanted ones to my block list on outlook express or hotmail.

I read somewhere that you can forward unwanted scam emails to stop it at source?Any ideas
