Hi

I am looking or Ellen/Eleanor Simpson on the 1851 census. She was born about 1785 Yorkshire.

In 1841 she is a widow in Crakehall (near Bedale).
In 1861 she is a pauper in Crakehall and she died in 1870 in Crakehall

I am trying to find out where she was born. She was not born in Crakehall as I have checked the parish registers.

I have also checked every page of the 1841 Crakehall census and tried all variations of her name that I can think of.

Any help would be appreciated.
