Just read your message PROPERLY
It lists those who were in WW 1
The bottleworks was shut and demolished before WW2

Try Googling "Seaham" and there is a web site that has some stuff on the bottle works.
There is a picture of The Roll of Honour - but you have to have good eyesight to read it but some of my rellies are on it.
I think that it maybe housed in Durham County Council Offices now.
But I don't think that those who are listed were killed, well not all of them. Some were casualties.
If you have trouble finding it let me know and if it's any help with the "googling" the bottleworks was owned by John Candlish

Thank you yorkie. I have just looked on the site you suggested and they know a scroll existed but they have no details of it. Thank you to Christine C, I will try to find out about your suggestions tomorrow.

My great great grandfather worked in the bottle works in Seaham, County Durham. Apparently, he and his brothers were mentioned on a scroll of honour of men who went to fight in WW2.Does anyone know where I might see or obtain a copy of the scroll?
