Hi Lynne,

Rootschat.com has Photograph Restoration & Dating. You will have to register (free) and then you can post your photos.

They are a great bunch of people, I have had some of my treasured pics (which I thought beyond help) restored to new.

If you have a look at this website it helps by showing the different dress etc. at different times:-

I wonder if anyone can help me to find out when a couple of photos were taken.
I have today met with 2 relatives, one being my dad's cousin (only just discovered via our research) and we went to the graveyard and found the graves of my ggrandffather and great uncle.
My dad's cousin had some photos but she was not sure who they were so she has loaned them to me to copy and try to find out their origin (she is 70 and new to computers).
One of the photos is of 6 females and one male and their are names on the back. Some of the names match my great grandmother and her sisters and we think maybe the brother (He was called John and the name on the photo is Jack but I believe this was often used as a nickname?? Maybe I am wrong?).
Is there a site that I can post the photos to and get advice on when they were taken to help me establish exactly who these people were?
Thanks in advance.
Lynne
I am going to bed now as it's been a long day (wandering round the graveyard in the rain and I have been sneezing since I got home) so don't think I am being rude if I don't respond until tomorrow evening.
Thank you in advance for any advice.
Lynne
