I have asked about emmigration from germany before, but wondered if anyone had any ideas on this side of it..

Looking for Gustav Seifriz (Seifritz) moved from Furtwangen im Schwarzwald to Neath nr Swansea in 1867/8

Would there be any record of his arrival in the UK??

Possibly at the National Archives.

The records series HO3 contains SOME lists of immigrants that were submitted by ships masters during 1836-61 and 1866-69.

Hope your man is there.

Try a blanket search on National Archives with his name, just in case something of use comes up.
