HI.
BEEN TO REG OFFICE. WE KNOW HALF SISTER WAS REGISTERD IN MY HUSBANDS FATHERS SURNAME BROWN (ARCHIBALD) AS THE FATHER OF THE CHILD BUT DONT KNOW FIRST NAME OR MOTHERS SURNAME.THEY SAID THEY NEED BOTH TO GET A CERT.WE KNOW WHERE SHE WAS REGISTERD .WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO .ANY HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
PLEASE.
SHE WAS BORN GLASGOW SCOTLAND EARLY 1940'S AND COULD STILL BE LIVING.

Can't remember from your earlier thread, Avril, but am I right in thinking the sister was born in Scotland? If so, you should put Scotland in the thread title, because Scottish research is completely different from English research.
