Anyone help please
Born Sandle W Yorks 1877
He resided in Tamworth Staffs in 1912
i havent been able to find any record of his death

Have you checked the complete BMD indexes on Ancestry or Findmypast - ticking as you work through that you have found every quarter.

Unless you know when he was last known to be alive it will be a very long trawl through the records

nothing upto 1920 in the GRO deaths

Just logged back in and got your pm.

You say that your local library looked for the death.

He could have moved anywhere after 1912 and lived to be one hundred years of age.

How do you know that he was in Tamworth in 1912. the birth cert of a child perhaps?

If so, are there any other births for that surname with the same MMN on FreeBMD
