names on census.....

hi everyone, does anyone have any suggestions on following-
i have information on 1891 census liverpool and it lists all the children my grt grt grandparents had then a kind soul looked up 1901census for me as i was curious if they had any more children after 1891 the results showed they had but there was also another age 21 years (with the same surname as all the rest of the family)why was she not on the 1891 census any ideas anyone????

Could be visiting grandparents, in hospital, next door with friends, working at a house as a servant..any number of possibilities!! Have you searched for her without the family? Name..dob..place of birth?
