Removal of old tree after change of email address

Hi all,

One of my contacts has recently changed their ISP, got a new email address and started a second GR tree, so I'm getting a double dose of hotmatches with them.

It seems they cannot get into their old GR account any longer, to get the old tree deleted, because of the change in email address and the obvious security precautions attached to that issue.

Is there anything that can be done? Who should they write to?

thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi MGH,

I'll pass that on and we'll see if it works.

Thanks,

Hi Mark,

You can normally still log on using your old email and password, then go to my account and change your email address. The next time you log in you can then use your new email and password.

Hi Jane,

the person concerned told me they were unable to get into GR under their old email ID, for some reason, so this wasn't tecnically possible. Maybe I don't have the full story (e.g. the forgotten-password reminder system is useless after you've closed the associated ISP account)?
