Is there an easy way of searching Irish marriage records in the 1930s and 40s? Even on Ancestry I can't find anything it's so frustrating

I know how you feel Debs...all my father's family is from Ireland! But the answer is no. If you can narrow your search down to a place and year +/- 2 years and order what you want (birth, death etc) they will search for you. Other than that either you or someone else will have to go to the RO and search.
