marriege look up please

If you have the sailing date you should be able to check with the shipping company not sure how you go about that but I'm sure someone will know.

I've just searched the BMD site for any David Watson or Mabel Johnstone/Johnston marriages around 1909-1910.

I can't find any marriage for them anywhere in the country,

Looks like they didn't bother!

family rumour has it that my grandfather married a woman before running awy with her to canada with her .he was already married to my gran at the time ,his name was david watson and her name was mabel johnstone they sailed for canada on the 8th of october 1910 ,so i imagine that if he did marry her it would have been close to the date they ran away .proberley in the penrith area many thanks alan
