	Margaret, Was so annoyed that I could have almost taken the IGI info as "gospel", that I did not look to see how they had been submitted. Kathlyn

	Are those IGI records submitted ones or extracted? Makes quite a difference. I still don't understand why they can label them IGI when they're submitted. Margaret

	I have read many times on these boards to "Treat the IGI with caution"....Oh yes..... I obtained a cd of the parish registers for Ramsey, Huntingdonshire and pulled off the dates that were relevant to me. Whilst skimming around on the IGI site I decided to do a check and this is what I found:- IGI Thomas Dawson married Sarah Grounds, on 19th June 1786 Parish registers give the date as 12th April 1786 ************************************* IGI Elizabeth Rose married Fryer Richardson 8th April 1833... Parish registers gave the groom as John Dawson on 8th April 1833. (It is the John Dawson I am interested in) Kathlyn
