Can anyone tell me please - how do you specify which individual is at the centre of your initial view when you select "My Family Tree" on the genesreunited site? What controls this and where is the setting?

The tree owner should be at the centre on the initial view when you open your tree, I don't think you can change this setting, you would need to export your tree to a family tree program on your PC to specify which individual is at the centre

This does not work for my tree - I am the tree owner but I'm miles away from the initial view. Anyone got any ideas? Nick

Daft question but are you sure you are on your tree? I automatically come up in the initial view.

Is the tree on here actually created here or imported from a GEDCOM?

Contact GR and ask them to make you the "Home Person" in your tree.
