Ancestry problems.

Hi all,

Is anyone having problems with Ancestry tonight? been very slow all afternoon, now every time i try to do a search, it takes ages and then tells me page can not be displayed......so frustrating!!!

Am trying to access some info given to me on a thread and I can`t get to look at it..............AAARRRRGH!!

Moan over now......but still don`t feel any better...

Ancestry's OK but Familysearch is taking forever !!!

John,

I`m sure your correct about the amount of people using the internet affecting all the websites, but when you just manage to get on the computor for 1/2 an hour {only when daughter takes a break from it} and then get problems it drives me mad. I sometimes think it may be better to get up in the middle of the night and search when the system is being used less.

Sundays have always been slow days on the tinternet - I just resign myself to it now. lol Next slowest day is Saturday - or so I have found.

Not had a problem with Ancestry yet, but was constantly getting that message with FreeBMD over the weekend!

It is frustrating!

Nothing like a good whinge is there? I, too, grind my teeth as the internet tries to squeeze me out to give preference to everyone else jostling for space, most of whom are probably just browsing and wasting time on a wet weekend with nothing else to do.... just like me!
