The names of members of the regular and reserve armed forces who have died on duty since the end of the war are now recorded on the Armed Services Memorial at the National Memorial
Arboretum near Lichfield in Staffordshire. To search you just need a name and the service they were in, the site does ask for a service number but you can leave it blank. you can then see the date and circumstances of the death and an option to print a free memorial certificate. Just go to;
