Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 5,200 Send Message	Does anyone remember the Golden Mile, where Romany folk would race horses, near Bridgend? My great great grandad Samson Roberts was killed in a race there in the 1920's. Also, Samson bought the cinema at either Aberkenfig or Newport (unsure) when it was going to close. He gave it to the community, on the understanding it was never sold.
