Is anyone else having problems with this site? I am becoming very frustrated - tried yesterday and again this morning - just can't get a directory to read! Thought my connection might be too slow, but it seems alright with everything else.

I found that the site doesn't work with the AOL browser but if I use IE it works OK. Yesterday it didn't always let me browse a directory but it seemed OK just now when I checked

I wrote to the Historical Directories team back in July about the problems of their site with AOL.

Their response ...

"We've had a few people who use AOL complaining recently that they can't access anything. If you use Internet Explorer as your browser, you will find everything works well."

Just tried emailing and had a response by return - "Historical Directories are incompatible with AOL. Try Internet Explorer"

Well I did and it works fine on there! :)
